People skills and bedside manners. There’s a lot of psychology involved in dentistry. Talking to people and letting them know what I'm doing.

4 years of undergrad and four years of dental.
How do you see jobs in this field changing in the future?
While the medical field is becoming progressively more and more run by insurance companies, dentistry is moving the opposite way.
How much flexibility do you have in the workplace?
Tons of flexibility. Any hours you want. 40 hours a week. 3 and half days a week.

Volunteer for an health related organization.
How well did your college experience prepare you for this job?
Reasonably well. Dentistry is a continuous learning cycle. I go to 200 hours of CE every year.
What is the employment outlook for this career?
Excellent. However, dental school really expensive.

I always knew I wanted to go into health care. Either dentistry or medicine.
