First Journal
Staring my senior year, I'm happy to say the senioritis hasn't set in yet. My first semester classes are all fairly simple, with the exception of AP Spanish Literature, but I'm confident I can pass the class. As of now I'm on pace in all my classes, and I'm just working on starting my senior project. In terms of extracurricular activities, I'm currently working a lot on my solo and ensemble guitar work. After a couple months I've finally finished a classical quartet cover of Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen, and am currently arranging a solo piece. When it comes to sports, I'm starting my cross country season and looking forward to seeing how it goes. Knowing it's my senior year, I know I'll make it one I won't forget.
Second Journal
Now that I'm nearing the end of first semester, I am starting to realize how crazy it is that I'll be leaving high school. I'm happy to say that I'm on pace to pass all my classes with level fours this semester, which should help me keep my rank of second. My cross country season is also nearing it's end. Though honestly I am starting to feel lazier I'm still making sure to keep up in all my classes during second semester. I also finished my job shadow with Dr. Buettner here in Lindsay. It was a very eye opening experience. Heading into second semester I will try to excel in my classes, sports, and music.
Third Journal
Nearing the six week grading period of second semester, it still surprises me how close to graduating we are. I've sent off my college applications and am nervously awaiting their responses. Now that I'm on my last semester, it truly has set in how soon I'll be graduating. It's a crazy experience, and now the school has began to feel slightly temporary. Still, I'm looking forward to the experiences that are yet to come, like senior sunset and grad night.
